He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred D. Hale and Elma O'Berry Hale; and his brother Charles Hale. He is survived by: his siblings, Margie Chesser (Clyde) of Brantley County and Delmus A. Hale (Alice) of Appling County; his nieces and nephews, Shirleen C. Dunn (Charles) of Brantley County, Teresa C. Hoskins (Cecil) of Jacksonville, Rachel Hale of Alabama, Darian Hale (Lynn) of Baxley and Stephen Hale (Heather) of Baxley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda Ottensmeyer (Justin), Chris Dunn (Robyn), Bethany Crews (Ronnie), Aaron Hoskins (Katie), Christen Miller (Tim), Gunner Hale (Paige), Levi Hale (Cordelia), Elijah Hale (Amber) and Elisabeth Barlow (Josh); his sister-in-law Donna Hale of Pierce County; and also, Liana, Layla, Aslyn, Asher, Grant, Gavin, Mason, Levi, Liam, Sam, Charlotte D., Charlotte J. and Ruby.
