He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Juanita Walter; his wife Nelda Lee King Walter; and his brother Bill Walter. He is survived by: his children, Terri Renee Walter, Melanie Jane Walter Henderson (Doug) of Dawsonville and Jesse Clifford Walter, Jr. of Stone Mountain; his grandchildren, Jesse Christopher Walter (Jensen) of Dallas, Justin Clifford Walter of Kennesaw and Jared Charles Walter of Pendergrass; his sister Laura Walter Hearne of Newbern, N. C.; and his friends, William Clyde Partin, Jr., Thomas Moore and Norman Burkett. He is also survived by three great grandsons.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the North Georgia United Methodist Conference in his honor.
