He is survived by: his wife Jean Hersey Cason of Waycross; his children, David O. "Doc" Cason of Waycross and Kelli Cason of Waycross; and his sister Vera Bowers of Fernandina Beach, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless other special friends.
