She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Dixon and Sarah Jane Proctor Dixon; her husband Jim Gardner; her daughter Sara Lovett; her granddaughter Anna Lovett; her siblings, Aline Keller, Nell Strickland, Mae Edgel, Lucille Dixon, Grace Altman, Marilyn Pittman, Jim Dixon, Eustace Dixon, Billy Dixon and Kenneth Dixon; and her stepson Richard Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, James Lovett (Kay) of Metter and Julia Lovett Hiers (Wendell) of Waycross; her grandchildren, Scotty Hiers (Nora) and Amanda Vernon (Dustin); her great grandchildren, GraceAnna Vernon, Caelan Vernon and Caleb Hiers (Kalynne); her great great grandchild Rowen Hiers; her sisters, Eleanor Carter of Waycross and Ernestine Langford of Brunswick; her siblings-in-law, Jack Pittman of Waycross and Sue Dixon of Macon; and her close friend Cindy Moelius of Homerville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
