She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Fred Lorin Herrin; her parents, Omer Dixon and Vietta Dixon (Thomas); and her father-in-law Allen C. Herrin. She is survived by: her parent-in-law Willie Melissa of Waycross, GA.; her children, Tammy Denise Groover (David) of Valdosta and Fleming Allen Herrin (Cathy); her granddaughters, Emily Alyssa Pritchett (Jesse) of Stone Mountain, GA and Amanda Gail Herrin of Jamestown Community, Waycross; her brother Reavis Dixon (Gilda) of Waycross; and her brother-in-law Clinton Herrin (Caroll) of Hoboken. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, close cousins, and other relatives.
Clara Nell (Dixon) Herrin, 79, died Saturday afternoon (August 22, 2020) at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta following an extended illness of Covid Pneumonia.
