She is survived by: her husband Jake Melton Carter, Jr. of Waycross; her daughters, Amber Ledford (Stephen) of Waycross and Katie Carter of Waycross; her grandchildren, Jacob Ledford, Olivia Ledford, Matthew Carter and Kaleigh Williams; her sister Cynthia Sweat of Blackshear; her father-in-law Jake Melton Carter, Sr. of Waycross; her sister-in-law Kathy Griffin (Willis) of Albany; and her nieces, Staci Waldron, Samantha Pearce, Lea Flowers and Kelly Paddrick. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews and other relatives.
