He was predeceased by: his wife Madelyn Elizabeth "Pat" Stone Corbitt; his parents, William Corbitt and Rosalee Blount Corbitt; and his children, Larry Daniel "Danny" Corbitt and Gail Denise Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Felder Corbitt, Jr. (Judy) of Brantley County, Tricia Sutherin (Phil) of Jacksonville, FL, Ricky Dewayne Corbitt (Cynthia) of Hoboken and Wanda Jean Crosby (Joey) of Waycross. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
