She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Holmes and Eula Lowe Holmes; her daughters, Lyverne Rogers and Simone Rogers; and her siblings, Willis Holmes Jr., Annie Doris Holmes and Louise Holmes Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Gillans of Waycross, GA.; her sons, Gregory Rogers of Orlando, FL, Randy Rogers of Monroe, GA, Timothy Gillans Sr. (Lanius) of Waycross, GA and Johnny Gillans Jr. of Waycross, GA.; her siblings, Geraldine Wallace of Ashburn and Gail Williams (Sonny) of Valdosta, GA.; and her grandchildren, Lurleen Albirtie (Terrance), Tiffany Gillans, Shaquille Hawkins, Timothy Gillans, Jr., Justin Gillans, Todra Jacobs, Johnny Gillans III, Ashundra Collins, Quintavious Collins, Tisha Tuff, Randy Rogers Jr. and Jaquez Dean. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; a host of cousins and other relatives.
