It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Waldron Burney of Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Waldron and Jeanette Moore Waldron. She is survived by : her son William Burney (Logan) of Blackshear; her stepsons, Rodney Burney of Blackshear and Bobby Burney (Robin) of Alexandria, Louisiana; her grandchildren, William Burney, Jr., Landon Turner, Matthew Burney, Kristen Hester, Amber Burney, Ashley Burney and Amelia Burney; her siblings, Diane Whitaker of Waycross, Sandra Stone (Edgar) of Waycross and Wayne Waldron (Theresa) of Blackshear; her niece Emily Robbins (John); her nephews, Jason Waldron (Claudia) and David Stone (Traci); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Averie Coward (Sam), Isaac Robbins, Knox Robbins, Jace Waldron and Maggie Waldron. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
