It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Matt McLaughlin (Waycross, Georgia), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Thomas McLaughlin and Lillie Walker; and his siblings, Mary Ann Holland, Debra Ekstrom and Alex Thomas McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Ricketson (Shannon) of Pearson and Terri McLaughlin of Waycross; his grandchildren, Alex Matt McLaughlin, Lacey Cochran (Dathan), Lillie Bailey (Austin), James Leston Jacobs, Ashton Thomas, Emma Kramer and Kayla Ricketson; and his close friend Luke Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
