She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy A. Jones and Irene Wilkes Jones; her husband Charles Stephens McQuaig, Sr.; and her siblings, Troy A. "Bubba" Jones, Carolyn Olivia Hinson and Marjorie Jean Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Martha Jo McQuaig Moore (Jimmie) of Latta, Charles Stephens "Chuck" McQuaig, Jr. (Beth) of Leo, Irene Ruth McQuaig Waggoner of Waycross and Benjamin Wilkes "Ben" McQuaig (Angie) of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Steve Moore (Jenny), Carrie Ann Moore Brigman (William), Erin McQuaig Richmond (Phil), Matthew McQuaig and Emily McQuaig; and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Noah, Cassie, Kelli, Molly, Macie, Parker and Sydney. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
