She was predeceased by: her parent Jasper Dubose; her spouse George Lloyd Howell; her sons, George "Eddie" Howell, Sr. and Charles Howell; her grandson Justin William Howell; her daughter-in-law Connie Howell; and her sister-in-law Vernell Howell.
She is survived by: her parent Lonnie Dowling Dubose; her children, Nell Gill (Everett) of Waycross, Cathy Downing (Willie) of Waycross, Tammy Howell (Kevin) of Waycross, Richard Howell (Mary) of Waycross, Donnie Howell (Beth) of Blackshear, Danny Howell (Carol) of St. Marys and Paul Howell of Hoboken; her sister Vannie Cady (Earl) of Waycross; and her sister-in-law Doris Brantley (Billy) of Waycross. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren.
