He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elmer Wildes and Viola Ammons Wildes; and his siblings, James Leonard Wildes, Jack Wildes, John Wildes, Adrian Smith, Sara Scruggs and Jean Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Artice Griffis Wildes of Waycross; his children, Gail Wildes Mallory (Ron) of Prattville, AL and Art Wildes of Port Tobacco, MD; his grandchildren, Georgia Guy (Traveis), Cleve Mallory (Jenny) and Autumn Wildes; his great great grandchildren, Jackson Mallory and Davis Mallory; and his brother Mac Wildes (Cindy) of Port St. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
