He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hargrove and Essie Hargrove; and his sister Virginia "ToGean" Rawls. He is survived by: his significant other Karen Adams; his mother-in-law Lillie Hill; his stepchildren, Shalom Davis and Sherione Robinson (Milton); and his siblings, Robert Jones (Sue) of Waycross, GA, Ulysses Jones (Shirley) of Waycross, GA, Jackie Jones (Ruby) of Waycross, GA, Paul Hargrove (Jackie) of Waycross, GA, Angela Smith of Waycross, Beverly Johnson (Frank) of Florida and Odessa Smith of Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
