He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Andrew Sears and Gertie Bennett Griffis; and his brother Richard Sears. He is survived by: his wife Juanita S. Sears of Blackshear; his children, Rita S. Bond of Waycross and Johnnie A. Sears (Lottie) of Waycross; his grandson Brandon Dale Frick of Waycross; his stepson Billy Simpson (Michelle) of Waycross; and his stepgrandson Justin Simpson of Waycross.
