He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Dixon of Waycross; his son Joe Dixon (Kelda) of Waycross; his grandson Jamie Dixon; his siblings, Johnny Dixon (Donna) of Waycross and Linda Gail Head (Danny) of Commerce; and his brother-in-law Jesse Crawford of Blackshear. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
