He is survived by: his children, Michele Garnto Howard, Michael Garnto, Lisa Miller O'Neal of Lagrange, GA and Diane Miller Copley (Scott); his grandchildren, Taylor May (James), L. J. Howard, Garrett DeBardelaben, Hallie DeBardelaben Hall (Matthew), Kate Miller, Curt Miller, Drew O'Neal and Miller O'Neal; his brothers, Alton Garnto of Columbus, GA and Ben Garnto (Sandy) of Phenix City, AL; and his nieces and nephews, Robin Morefield, Jodie Jones, Kim Poe, Kelli Hawk, Stephanie Osman, Jory Garnto, Todd Garnto and Brad Garnto. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
