He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dewey and Madine Eudora Dewey; and his brother Albert Dewey Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marla Dewey; his brother Del Hodges (Lynn); his daughters, Maris Walls (Kendall) and Jaima Adams (Chris); his grandchildren, Loudon David, Alden Abraham, Prudence Hosanna, Delanore Ann, Clementine Beatrice, Christopher William, Frances Ophelia, Mabel Avonlea, Ruth Irving and Margaret James; and his brothers-in-law, Chris Loudon (Teresa), Steve Loudon (Linda) and Craig Loudon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:30 PM.
