He was predeceased by: his parent Meredith Morris Peters. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Peters of Waverly Hall, Georgia; his mother Nell Welker Vannoy of Columbus; his children, Christi Shanafelt (Chris) of Stow, Heidi Peters of Waverly Hall, Georgia and David B. Peters of Columbus; his siblings, Bobby G. Peters of Columbus and Deborah Peters of Waverly Hall, Georgia; his grandchildren, Tyler Griffiths, Shayna Belcher, Levi Whitten and Natalie Shanafelt; and his great grandchild Meredith Hayes Smith. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
