It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morton Smith (Watkinsville, Georgia), who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Herman Smith and Marie Elder Smith; his former wife Shirley Kenney Smith; and his wife Marie Pippin Smith. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Smith Reising (Kyle), Rita Smith Rogers (Joe), Richard Morton Smith (Barbara) and Herman Kenney Smith (Carol); his grandchildren, Katie (Joanna Reising), Jenny Rogers Owens, Toni Rogers, Benjamin (MacKenzie Smith) and John Isaac (Nathan Smith); and his great grandchildren, Walker and Julian Owens Many. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews and friends.
