It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Shepard (Watkinsville, Georgia), born in Daytona Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Bishop and Harrell Bishop; her husband Gene Ray Shepard; and her brother Radford Bishop. She is survived by: her children, Kerry Shepard and Stephen Shepard (Michelle); her grandchildren, Connor and Sydney Shepard; and her brothers, Billy Bishop (Sandy) and Bobby (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Kay requested donations may be made to Watkinsville First Baptist Church's Missions Fund or the Athens YMCA Aquatics Program.
