He was predeceased by: his parents, John Iverson and Sally Harrington Canupp. He is survived by: his wife Jacque; his daughter Holly Canupp Belger (Nathaniel); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Harrington (Betsy) and William Beaumont (Beau); his brothers, Jack Douglas Canupp (Carol) and Don Mitchel Canupp (Jennifer); and his brother-in-law John Thomas Deakins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oconee Hills Cemetery (297 Cemetery St, Athens, GA 30605). Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677).
