With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ira Dickerson (Watkinsville, Georgia), who passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dickerson and Gussie Wynn Dickerson; his wife Lillian Parramore Dickerson; and his siblings, Reggie, Barney, Kelly Dickerson, Bertis Deal, Grace Deal, Eunice Chester and Jewel Dickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Holloway (Chris) of Nashville, Tenn., Mary Lynn Robbins (David) of Nashville, Mickey Dickerson (Vivian) of Folkston and Neal Dickerson (Cindy) of Loganville; his grandchildren, Andy Dickerson (Amy) of Folkston, Kent Dickerson (Holli) of Monroe, Grant Dickerson (Kameron) of Waverly, Ashley Bradford (Alan) of Loganville, Lesley Anne Fenton (Kyle) of Loganville, Leah Holloway, Brian Holloway, Matthew Holloway of Mt. Juliet and David Robbins of Mt. Juliet; his siblings, Dorothy Newsome of Statesboro, Bobbie Morris of Portal, Betty Jo Collins (Woody) of Pelion, S. C. and Jerry Dickerson (Runette) of Portal; his great grandchildren, Lillianne, Graham Bradford, Gabe, Caleb Fenton, Charlie Holloway, Luke Dickerson, Ayla Ruth and Elijah Dickerson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin and Trysta Bennett; and his grandsons, Trey Robbins and Drew Dickerson.
