Bonnie Jean Simoneaux Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025, at the age of 83, Bonnie Jean Simoneaux of Watkinsville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Percy and Pauline Davis Rushing of Summit, Mississippi.; and her grandmother Bonnie Rushing Ball. She is survived by: her brother Raymond; her daughter Susan Simoneaux Snyder; her family Mike; her husband Mike; her great grandchildren, Steve (Irene), John (Jiji), Anne Marie, Bonnie and Susan (James); her siblings, Jane Rushing Lawrence of Summit and Mike Rushing of St. Petersburg; and also, Matthew (Monica), Abigail, Rachel and Samuel. She is also survived by children, grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mike & Bonnie Simoneaux Music Education Scholarship at Brewton-Parker College.
