She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Otto Brown and Fanny Mae Hutchison Brown; her husband H. J. Almers, Jr.; her son Gary D. Almers; and her sisters, Vera Hall and Carolyn Rhodes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Brune (Carl) and Kim Bolen (Mike); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Almers, Anne Swords, Brandon Brune, Cameron Brune, Spencer Bolen, Katie Bolen, Roland and Rosalie Brune; and her sister Freddie Vaughn.
