It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Shepherd (Watkinsville, Georgia), born in Statham, Georgia, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Van Shepherd; her parents, Claude Hunter and Birdie Mae Hunter (Butler); and her siblings, James Hunter, Lanoise Hunter, Clarence Hunter, Howard Hunter, Cammie Lee Hardigree (Hunter) and Charles "Sonny" Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Van Shepherd, Steve Shepherd (Deborah), Carol Shepherd Grout and Christy Shepherd Rochon (Matthew); her grandchildren, Caleb Shepherd (Taylor), Stephanie Baynes (JC), Kaitlin Grout and Hunter Grout; and her great grandchildren, Wren Shepherd and Anne-Kay Baynes.
