He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gillispie and Mable Mueller Gillispie; and his daughter Theresa D. Gillispie. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Burchett Gillispie of Washington; his son Steve Gillispie of Washington; and his granddaughters, Christina M. Majors (Shane), Angela T. Shriver, Jacqueline R. Shriver, Madison O. Gillispie and Kaitlyn T. Gillispie. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

The family has requested for memorial contributions to be made to the Cancer Fund of your choice.
