It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Louis Harris of Washington, Georgia, born in Tunica, Mississippi, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Lynn Harris and Frances Hodges Harris; his grandfather Walter L. Hodges; his wife Carol Lindsey Harris; his children, Lindsey Davis of Athens, Louis Harris, Jr. and Katherine McEvoy (Michael) of Charleston, S. C.; and his grandchildren, Laura Davis of Norfolk, Stuart Davis of Athens, Brooks McEvoy of Charleston, S. C, Elijah McEvoy of Charleston, S. C and Naomi McEvoy of Charleston, S. C.
