It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas McAvoy Jr. (Washington, Georgia), who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, T. Benji McAvoy (Sherri) of Washington, Brett McAvoy (Tracy) of Washington, Dawn McAvoy Moore (Sam) of Washington and Mary Donna McAvoy (Clayton) of Bethlehem; his sisters, Willie McAvoy Roberson (Gayle) of Washington and Sarah Nell McAvoy Baynham of Clarks Hill, S. C.; his aunt Dell McAvoy James of Washington; his grandchildren, Amanda Kathol (Brian), Amy Mullins (Brett), Jason McAvoy (Donna), Sarah Beth McAvoy, Emory McAvoy, Joshua Saggus (Brooke), Caleb Saggus (Kaitlin), Austin Hall, Alex Hall, Anthony Hall and Aykin Hall; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Kathol, Benjamin Kathol, Hutson Saggus and Mattox Saggus.
