It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue J. Lance of Washington, Georgia, born in Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Johnson and Ruby Griner Johnson; and her brother Jerry Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Willard Lance; her children, Laura Foxworth of Simpsonville, James Lance (Keeley) of Grovetown and Elizabeth Conway (Chris) of Athens; her grandchildren, Andrew Lance, Allen Lance, Cooper Lance and Addy Grace Lance; and her siblings, Jobeth Peacock (Doug) of Orlando, Larry Johnson (Connie) of Tifton, Jan Tyson (Danny) of Tifton and Stan Johnson (Michelle) of Tifton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
