He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Dallas Kirkland and Henry Kirkland. He is survived by: his wife Judy Davis Kirkland; his daughters, Amanda Kirkland Smith of Washington and Angela Kirkland Kling (Doug) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Chase and Jackson Smith; his sisters, Dianne Scott (Linton) and Linda Kirkland of Washington, GA; and his brother-in-law Wayne Davis (Vicki). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
