She was predeceased by: her daughter Brooke Bentley Pearson of Milledgeville, GA; and her parents, Sam Bonner and Claudelle Bonner. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Tanner; her child Ginny Bentley Thornton (Brett); her stepchildren, Phil Tanner, Jason Tanner and Jennifer Sanders; her granddaughters, Delaney, Natalie Pearson of Milledgeville, GA, Cassidy Barnett of Washington and Bailee Thornton of Alpharetta, GA; her great grandchild Harlyn; her brothers, Ted Pettus (Mary) of Bloomsdale, MO and Randall Pettus of Athens, GA.; and her close friend Buster Bo-Diddly. She is also survived by seven step grandchildren, one step great -grandchild.
