She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Stewart Wilson and Myrtle Olive Shellnutt Wilson; her husband J. T. Summerlin; and her sons, Mathew Carter Summerlin and Thomas Stewart "Tommy" Summerlin.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Wilson (Martha) of Gainesville; her children, Beth Hodges (Benjie Hodges) of Washington and Joe Summerlin (Tani Summerlin) of Concord; and her grandchildren, Whitley Moore (Chris Moore), Benjamin Hodges, Morgan Summerlin, Kyle, Dean Avery, Emma and Jake Summerlin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
