She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gardner Veazey and Anna Sybil Wheeler Veazey; her husband Dr. John Edward Pollock Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Amanda Woods Hogan. She is survived by: her children, Inman Curry Hogan III of Washington, GA and Anna Carole Hogan of Martinez, GA.; her sisters, Kathryn Hunter of Washington, GA and Jacquelyn Butts (Mike) of Crawfordville, GA.; and her grandson Nicholas Curry Hogan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Washington First Baptist Church (105 W Robert Toombs Ave, Washington, GA 30673). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Lynda's legacy of love and generosity will continue through donations in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Washington and the Wilkes County Animal Shelter.
