She was predeceased by: her husband Max J. Cobo; her parents, Claude Elbert Ray, Sr. and Eula Boswell Ray; her stepmother Frances Irene Gaines Ray; and her siblings, Annette Gaines, Doris Hudson, Henry Doyle Ray, Hazel Dean, Claude Ray, Jr., Norman Ray, Joyce Wilson and David Ray.
She is survived by: her sons, Carey Michael Cobo of Elberton and Donald Steven "Donnie" Cobo (Jackie) of Elberton; her grandchildren, Christa Michelle Cobo of Athens, Ryan Maxwell Cobo (Katie) of Thomson and Justin Daniel Cobo (Jessica) of Macon; her great grandchildren, Remington Kathryn Cobo, Maxwell Thomas Cobo and Oliver William Cobo; and her sister Linda Hawkins of Elberton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (1265 Washington Hwy, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
