Jimmy Leon Tanner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2022, at the age of 79, Jimmy Leon Tanner of Washington, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Tanner and Lucy Bufford Tanner of Tignall, Georgia.; his significant other Peggy P. Tanner; and his daughter Brooke Bentley Pearson. He is survived by: his children, Phillip L. Tanner, Jason M. Tanner, Jennifer Smith-Sanders and Ginny B. Thornton; his sisters, Gloria Harris (Layton) and Thelma Arterburn; his sister-in-law Ann Tanner; and his close friend Buster. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
