James Addison Baston Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Addison Baston Jr. (Washington, Georgia), who passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Addison Baston and Gwendolyn Jones Baston; and his brother Irving Baston. He is survived by: his children, MeLisa B. Clay (Greg) of Macon and James A. Baston III (Heather) of Washington; his sister Jacquelyn Starks (Johnny) of Simpsonville, SC; his grandchildren, Ashley C. Smith (Tanner), Abby C. Cohen (Josh), Addison Baston and Avery Baston; and his great grandchild Campbell Smith.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, a private graveside memorial service will be held January 24, 2021 with the Rev. Brian George officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Washington First United Methodist Church, 102 W. Liberty St., Washington, GA 30673.
