He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Ila and Albert Curtis Veal; his grandmother Mattie Mae Veal; his wife Emma Jean Hall; his children, Cathy Stephens (Ted) and Rev. Henry Veal, Jr. (Minister Erical); his grandchildren, Master Jirran Poole, Jr., Jameria Poole, Javicia Smith, Diamond Smith, Patrilla Johnson (Mario) and Jerald Stephens; his great grandchildren, S'mari Johnson, Ian Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Amaya Stephens, Clarksville and Nova Smith; his siblings-in-law, Willie Ada Armstrong, Minister Minnie Howell, Glenda Faye Finch, Margaret Love (Willie), Laura Mae Johnson and George Bridges (Carolyn); and his cousins, Mary Lou Taylor, Joe Taylor and Deacon Michael Poole. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
