He is survived by: his wife Glenda Powell King; his children, Verondia King (L. W. Hurst), Chandra Fussell, Chris Fussell (Danixsa), Carl King (Jacqueline Wright), Rosalyn Scott (Reginald) and Vikki Lewis (Tracy); his siblings, Dathery Elbert (Freddie), Virg Lawson (Leon), Ruby King, Trudy Vining, Shirley Palmer (Will), Mamie Vining, John King (Sharon) and Dan King (Gennell); and his siblings-in-law, Mattie Jackson (Willie), Brenda Powell, Kathleen Powell, Mary King, Carletha Hall (Vincent), Minister Hubert Powell (Rosena) and Andrew Powell (Amanda). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
