He was predeceased by: his father Allen Rogers; his brother Gary Rogers; and his father-in-law Ben Long. He is survived by: his wife Allison L. Rogers of Tignall; his children, Jennifer Rogers (James) of Washington, Joe Rogers of Tignall and Jack Rogers of Tignall; his grandson Gil Davis of Washington; his mother Marjorie W. Rogers of Washington; his brothers, Clyde Rogers (Cissy) of Tignall and Darrell Rogers (Gay) of Tignall; his sister-in-law Kim Wynne (Mike); and his mother-in-law Jackie Long of Tignall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Washington Fire Department.
