He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Clarke Hawkins and Stella Reynolds Hawkins; his son David Hawkins; his grandson J. J. Larimore; and his brother Lamar Hawkins.
He is survived by: his significant other Fannie Watkins Hawkins; his children, Glenn Hawkins (Jennifer) of Warthen and Sharon H. Lewis (Tony) of Warthen; his grandchildren, Kristi De La Rosa (Pete), Stephen Hawkins (Jessica), Matthew Hawkins, Jessica Lewis, Jon Alston Lewis and Spencer Hawkins; his great grandchildren, Avery De La Rosa, Ansley Hawkins, Madalyn Hawkins, Zander Hawkins, Kayleigh Ann Larimore, Caydon Larimore, Grayson Larimore and Bryce Larimore; his great great grandchild Jaiden Larimore; and his brother Clarke Hawkins (Trish) of Virginia.
