She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mitchell Quarles and Elsie Irene Quarles of Lincolnton, GA.; her husband Thomas Dempsey Goolsby; and her nephew Benjamin Smith. She is survived by: her children, Edward Leroy Harley (Amy) and Lisa Smith (Spud); her siblings, Thomas Edward Quarles of Lincolnton, Mitch Quarles of Union Point, Bobby Lee Quarles of Lincolnton and Joyce Dadhirao (Gopal); her grandchildren, Alex Harley, Will Harley, Daxton Smith and Wesley Murphy; her great grandchildren, Zander Harley and Matthew Murphy; and her stepmother Dot Quarles of Augusta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
