She was predeceased by: her husband John Edward Leard; her parents, Luther Scarborough and Sallie Kate Lovinggood Scarborough; her son Marshall Edwin Leard; and her siblings, Kathleen Peppers and Sidney Scarborough.
She is survived by: her son Danny; her daughter-in-law Pam Leard of Elberton; her grandson Blake Leard (Amber); her great grandchildren, Bailey and Josiah; and her siblings, David Scarborough of Elberton and Christine Mobley of Mableton.
