With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Elizabeth Pitts James of Warwick, Georgia, who passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Harpe Pitts and Benjamin Felder Pitts; and her brother Ronald F. Pitts. She is survived by: her husband Joey James; her sister Donna Rousey of Cordele, Georgia; her children, Jeannie James Larkin (Paul) of Leesburg, Maribeth James Slade (Rusty) of Cordele, Ashley James Sirmans (Keith) of Valdosta and Edward Jackson James (Sarah) of Valdosta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jonathan Stokes (Heidi), Elizabeth Vonier (Will), Joseph Stokes, Hunter Slade, Wesley Larkin (Leslie), Makenley Slade, Chandler Larkin, Madelyn James, Allie James, Harper James and Ella James; and her great grandchildren, Paul Larkin, Luka Stokes, Amelia Vonier, Finn Stokes and Elsie Larkin.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hempstead Estate (4578 Hempstead Church Rd, Barney, GA 31625).
