It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Hodges Hattaway of Warthen, Georgia, born in Washington, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Hodges and Eve Burgamy Hodges; and her brothers, Billy Hodges and Robert Hodges. She is survived by: her husband Richard Thomas Hattaway, Jr. (Bud) of Warthen; and her sons, Richard Thomas Hattaway III (Eileen) of Duluth, Ronald Lamar Hattaway (Angela) of Conyers and Russell Hodges Hattaway (Christine) of Winder. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

The family suggest donations be made to Pine Hill Church, c/o Marjorie Sheppard, 2102 Bay Springs Road, Warthen, Georgia 31094.
