He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Barron and Mavis Cook Barron; his siblings, Lina Barron Faulk, Buddy Barron, Randel Barron and Butch Barron; and his uncle Henry Barron.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Yarbrough Barron; his children, Jon "Brent" Barron (Sherri) of Waverly, Tracy B. Welch (Daniel) of Sandersville and Travis Barron (P. J.) of Warthen; his grandchildren, Chayce Welch, Addison Welch, Brylee Welch, Benjamin Barron, Hannah Barron, Brayden Barron, Bailey Barron, Justin Barron and Mattie Grace Barron; his siblings, Sylvia Hart of Warthen and Nick Barron of Oregon; and his niece Kelli Jackson.
