He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Crooms and Lola Bell Crooms; his wife Marie Lewis Water; his son Bobby Waters; and his grandson Adam Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Dean Waters of Tennille, Donnie Waters of Tennille, Ronnie Waters (Cheryl) of Warthen and Teresa W. Williford (Billy) of Tennille; and his grandchildren, Jeff Waters, Ron Waters, Rhonda Todd, B. J. Waters, Dana Waters, Brad Crook, Dexter Waters, Daniel Waters, Stacey Smith, Brittany Williford and Dalton Williford. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
