He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gilmore Jones and Grace Tanner Jones; his father-in-law Lloyd McDonald; and his siblings, Betty Upshaw (Gerald), Jeanette Snider (Marion), Jimmy Jones and Martina Hodges.
He is survived by: his friends, Lynn and Gene Broxton; his wife Loy McDonald Jones; his children, Jeremy Jones (Corrie) and Laura Gaines (Jon); his grandchildren, Breck Jones, Kaylan Gaines, Aine Jones, Nico Gaines, Maddie Jones, Sarah Gaines, JoNann Gaines and Luke Gaines; his siblings, Wilbur Jones (Audrey), Warren Jones (Judy) and Linda McDaniel; his siblings-in-law, Louise Jones, Lynn Sexton (Sam), Herbert Hodges and Dwayne McDonald (Kathie); and his mother-in-law Blanche McDonald. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
