He was predeceased by: his father William Burtz Harper, Sr.; and his sisters, Susan H. Smith and Rosemary H. Register. He is survived by: his granddaughter Harper Leigh; his wife Dottie E. Harper; his daughter Jill Harper (Richard Brinson); his mother Hildred Harper; his sister Kathryn H. Wood; and his granddaughter Harper Leigh Walker.
