He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward Thomas Sr. and Ruth Kent Thomas; his brother Mark Wayne Thomas; his brother-in-law George Kitchens; and his pet Bullet.
He is survived by: his son Glyn Thomas (Michelle) of Edgehill, GA; and his sisters, Barbara Chalker of McIntyre, GA, Linda Hannah (Travis) of Greenhill, AL, Becky Hinton of Waynesboro, GA, Sandra Kitchens of Stapleton, GA, Cathy Lamb (Harold) of Edgehill, GA and Alice Hardin (Tim) of Washington, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
